Tapes are mainly used to upgrade your characters and hangouts, so use them carefully!

You can get more tapes by:

• Watching ads for 25 tapes
• Completing goals - a lot of them have tapes on their rewards
• Hitting friends bonuses on Hangouts
• Opening any card packs in the store - there's a free pack you can collect every few hours, so keep an eye out!
• Trading cards for tapes with the Goldberg kids at the bottom of the map
• Completing milestones on most events
• Inviting your Facebook friends to play the game. You'll receive an extra tape on every free pack for each Facebook friend that also plays The Goldbergs, up to a maximum of 20 friends.
• Buying certain special offers or tape bundles in the store
